Murter is located in northern Dalmatia and it is located near national park Kornati. It is located about twenty kilometers from Sibenik and about fifty kilometers from Zadar. On the island there are four settlements: Murter, Betina and Tisno. Bridge in Tisno is connecting the mainland and the island.
